The Breffni Inn

This project was the refurbishment of the well-established Breffni Inn. The brief was to create an environment that welcomed existing customers being careful not to alienate them with a very modern environment. An area was also to be designed that appealed to younger customers and gently separated them from the older generations.

A classically designed bar combined with mahogany panelling and flooring throughout sets the tone for the lounge. Elegant stools with luxurious fabrics were specified and combined with existing furniture which was reupholstered. Brass lighting, embossed papers and heavy cornicing all create an opulent finish. Unique striped carpets and Italian lighting help to differentiate the area for the younger clientele.
